Reach One More

Reach One More is a 2026 church-wide initiative at Oak Community Church designed to equip every person to reach one more person with the gospel and help them follow Jesus.

This isn’t about pressure or programs. It’s about becoming disciple-making disciples.

Why Reach One More?

After her brother died, Kristen was angry at God. She turned away, trying to live life on her own. Years later, a quiet nudge led her to say yes when a friend invited her to church. One year later, she was baptized, reading her Bible, and fully part of a community she never imagined.

This is a true story – and what happened to Kristen can happen for others. That’s why, this year, we’re challenging everyone at Oak to Reach One More.

How It Works:

1. Pray

Ask God: Who is my one?

Commit to daily prayer

2. Invite

Invite them to church

Invite them into your life

Invite them into conversation

3. Share

Share the hope of the gospel

Help them take next steps

FAQ ‘s

What is Reach One More?
Reach One More is a church-wide focus to help every person at Oak prayerfully reach one person with the gospel and walk with them toward Jesus.
What if I don't feel gifted in evangelism?
You don’t need a special gift to care about someone. Start with prayer. Spend intentional time together – coffee, dinner, a shared hobby – and look for natural opportunities to talk about faith. Remember, God uses ordinary people.
What if the person I'm praying for says no?
Your responsibility is faithfulness, not outcomes. Keep loving them. Keep praying. God works over time.
What if I don't know anyone who isn't a Christian?
Ask God to open your eyes to the people He has already placed around you. You can also be intentional about building relationships in everyday spaces – community centers, coffee shops, parks, gyms, teams, and neighborhoods.
What are you asking me to do?
Start by praying for one person. Look for opportunities to love them, invite them, and share Jesus with them. Take simple, faithful steps and trust God with the results. And as you do that with one, ask Him who might be next.
Why are we doing this?
To help ordinary people become fully devoted followers of Jesus!
How will this practically impact me?
It will help you live more intentionally, pray more specifically, and trust God more deeply. Evangelism isn’t for professionals. It’s for all of us.
Is this a capital campaign?
No. This is not about raising money. It’s about reaching people.
What if I'm new to faith myself? Can I still participate?
Yes! In fact, sharing what God is doing in your life may be one of the most powerful ways your own faith grows.
